TOG value
What does TOG value mean?
How do you dress a baby for the night? Many parents struggle with it. Do you put on a body and sleeping bag , pajamas with or without feet, a blanket over it or not. It's actually simple and thanks to the TOG value even simpler: the room temperature, together with the TOG value of your little one's sleeping bag, tells you how to dress him or her before going to sleep . No more feeling the neck and no more clammy children who wake up sweating.
The colder the temperature in the room, the higher the TOG value. The thicker the sleeping bag, the more layers you can put on your baby. And then we (hopefully) left for a quiet night.
TOG measures the thermal resistance of a blanket or sleeping clothes: the higher the TOG degree, the warmer the object . To ensure that your child can regulate his own body temperature during sleep, we recommend that you wear as much sleeping clothing as possible made from natural fibers, such as organic cotton, bamboo and merino. The Little Indians collection of sleeping bags is made from natural materials. Natural fibers breathe, which maintains your child's body temperature and is also kind to your baby's delicate skin.
A TOG gradation ranges from 0.1 and 0.2 in the hottest days of the year to a maximum of 3.5 for the coldest days of the year. This way, your little one's sleep ritual does not have to change.
Good night.
